This video showcases my favourite climb in France: the famous Col du Tourmalet.
I started the loop from Lourdes, a religious town at the foot of the Pyrenees. Lourdes offers affordable accommodation, making it a great base for a short stay in the region.
This was my fifth time climbing the Tourmalet from this side, and I still can’t get enough of it. I speak Portuguese throughout the video and there’s no music, so I hope you enjoy the natural sounds and the views of the climb.

Indeed. A beautiful ride and climb. When I did it I took La Voie Laurent Fignon diversion. It's well worth it if you get a chance. It still had some of the Tour riders names painted on the road.
