Went from having no snow and ice patches, to a few fresh inches of wet snow. Riding was great In most spots but with the fresh powder hiding those pesky icy patches made it a little slick. Pic 2 is the aftermath of me sliding out, hopefully someone gets a laugh. I felt like a deer stuck on the ice.

Nice! Very similar to my ride in central Massachusetts yesterday. Any tips for riding on fresh snow over ice? I have studded tires but still wiped out more than I’d like to admit. What tire pressure are you running? I was at 7.5 lbs and thinking of lowering it a bit. It was my first ride on a fat bike so I suppose it could just be a learning curve thing.
