Considering brompton, and low bars are on discount. For the new version, can I just buy a hi/med handlebar or is the stem different too? Looks different when I toggle, but it’s hard to tell.

It’s different
I believe the low bar has a slightly higher stem than a mid bar – & of course, you would need longer cables too, so not an easy swap.
