1 1”8 sus forks sitting in a 1” Hardrock frame, using my custom adapters. Just did 700km through Cuba with this setup
Version 2 (Image 3) is now smaller and uses a press fit, replacing TPU shims in version 1. Just my side project at the local Hackspace

Wait so there is enough clearance in the head tube on a bike made for a 1” steerer to fit 1 1/8”, it’s just that no one makes headsets for this combo?
Is this something you would sell?
Also, excuse my ignorance on the topic… but I have a 1” crust Clydesdale fork. Does anyone make an adapter to be able to run it on a bike made for 1 1/8”?

This is a game changer! Do you anticipate selling these as some point? And does the oversized fork put additional strain on the frame.
