I wanted to share this on here as this as this subreddit has really expanded my love for old bikes after getting my ‘84 sequoia. Quickly after getting that bike I found that I probably should have just looked for an 80s/90s mtb bc I instantly fell in love with those builds. It’s taken me about three years of procrastinating to fix my dad’s old Fisher and quickly getting handed down this frame that fits me much better to have a complete build I’m relatively happy with. Could never find frames that were in my price range that fit me, but this one passed through some mutual friends’ hands and none of them wanted it so now it’s mine! Has some cool parts on it I think, some awesome friends gave me some awesome parts like xtr cantis, campi wheelset, and of course the obnoxious but lovely purple Paul seat post which is kind of on loan. I’d like to get a different brake lever/shifter set up, different MKS pedals that are a larger platform (love the bear cages) and am debating switching the bars out for something with a bit less sweep than the albatross. But anyways, I’m stoked! Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Am I wrong here or is that a 90’s-era Trek logo on your rear dropout?
Im glad you’re loving this! It’s incredibly ugly but looks fun to ride
