Hi! I’m considering adding biking as a hobby. Mostly street and light trails (too many injuries for heavy mountain biking). Street would probably be 20-30 miles limit. I do want done off-roading though. If I get more serious in the future I’ll consider making a bigger investment. For now, I found this on facebook marketplace and want to see if it’s a good deal for what I’m looking for. Thanks!

you can find a lot of modern trek marlin 5 or 6 for that price
that thing is a rim brake mtb, probably from 2005?
You’d be better served by an older steel frame bike, wirh out that bouncy fork.
