Mongoose Malus, I just installed the Fatty Stripper. I didn't use the foam insulation strips because I don't understand what they do. I'm not sure if the bead set because there was no popping sound (like my regular bikes' tubeless installs). It's holding air but I can hear it leaking out very slowly. I used their Bling Strip but with the original backing behind it.
Does anyone know what my next move is? Will it eventually seal?

I setup fatty strippers on my rims with cutouts with a Surly rimstrip and the fatty stripper. No foam insulation. Have never had any leaks since it creates a full seal across the tire on both beads. I wonder if there is damage to the fattystripper where air is leaking out. Are there any sharp edges?
I definitely had the popping sound when I seated the bed. I lubricated the bead with a bit of dish soap, and increase the pressure little by little. Sometimes just holding a higher than normal pressure for 20-30s and they will eventually pop into place. If they don’t, I add a bit more air.
The Fatty Stripper has to be damaged and/or installed wrong. It stretches from bead to bead and unless it has been punctured or slipped off the bead, it can’t leak.
Did you have excess stripper overhanging the bead that you trimmed off or did it slip in under the tire bead?
I see the bling strip on there. Did you use the actual black latex fatty stripper rim strip after that? If you did is there maybe a twist or damage to the rim strip?
