Amy well done. I’ve been fascinated watching your journey. Once you make your re entry to life after letour you should write a book about your story riding yourself to healthy life. It would be hugely helpful to others and a continuation of your journey.
Your body language and voice reflect that you're getting closer to the end and seem to be feeling a bit of well deserved relief and recognizing your own accomplishment. You're so close.

Getting closer to Paris. Once you get there you're going to be the 1st mealworm who finished the Tour. Quite an achievement 😉 🥇
I can totally relate to the scary street. I remember my tour over the alps with my mtb. Lots of adventurous routes, but the scariest part was the 15km road outside of Trento towards Lake Garda. Lots of drivers were idiots leaving almost no space when overtaking.
After completing lejog last year I struggled to get my mojo back for cycling. Any thoughts on what you will do after this magnificent challenge is completed? The Peak District will seem a little tame after the roads you have ridden. Bravo to you. 🥇👍
I was thinking about you yesterday Amy; I was driving home from the grocery store and someone ran me off the road and I was so grateful I wasn’t on my bike so I’m grateful the traffic calmed down for you and that Laura was there to ride with you for a while, she seems like a lovely person! You are all smashing it so more than well done, nice to see Laura giving some support. Re That metal cladding on the houses, if you notice it appeared to be all on the same sides. I would think that it’s to protect and preserve the building from the prevailing weather. Can’t wait to see you cross the final finish line and get back on home turf, think that goes for Chester and all the family too.

Cars and lorries are supposed to leave at least 1.5 meters of space when overtaking, it's a shame they don't. Sadly the only possible solution is fully autonomous vehicles.

Just amazing Amy! I know we only get to see a tiny fraction of your journey and it's hard to imagine you spending 10+hrs in the saddle day after day AND doing a lotta recording so us lucky sods get to see the sights n sounds..it's beyond impressive.

Congratulations on dealing with that busy road, I guess some lorry drivers in that area are probably very arrogant and not used to cyclists being around them.
But onto the good news, you made me laugh so much watching this video, I'm sure that cow was just about to give you a massive moo before you sped off. And your impression of a marmot, spot on 😊
