Does anybody know this
Does anyone know if the stem (Syncros RR 2.0) can be changed without disconnecting the cables from the brake levers? I want to change the stem and handlebar, but I don't want to put new DOT fluid in, etc. It has a screw to detach the holder for the cables, and I think you can detach the spacer from the stem to only change the stem and leave the cables attached.

I dont know this specific one but it looks like a lot of others and yes usually its just a cap with the stem shaped for the cables to route beneath. Assembling bikes its just the usual nightmare of getting the cables to agree to fit in the cap.
P.s i just want to change this one withe the same one but in 110 mm instead of 100mm
No need to disconnect the cables. You might end up with problems if the lenght of cables in the new setup should be a lot shorter/longer.
