Now I have seen everything. At least this was my first thought when I've seen this one.
I’m not a pro cyclist or something, just a guy who likes to road cycling in free time and rediscovered his passion for cycling a few years ago. Atm i'm looking for a new bike and i'm seriously surprised about the prices today. Even if they are carbon and wireless and stuff… I know they can cost a lot, but this one is just pure madness imo. I mean, who buys a bike, which costs like a new car? I’m about to give maybe € 3,000,- for a new bike and for me this is already a high price. Although I wouldn't say I'm someone with a bad job or salary. So, please tell me: am i just not able to see outside often he box and is it legit to pay 6k to 7k or more for a bike? How much are you willing to give for a road bike?

It just gets gross at a point.
For what it’s worth, you could get a TCR SL 0 with the best specs available for less than half.
You can buy two velomobiles for that price…
These bike prices are getting out of hand man!!!
I wonder how much better this is than a 10k€ similar bike
Remember that in some cases, a professional racing team must use equipment that is commercially available. Thus, legally, certain bicycles and framsets must be offered for sale.
1500-2000 is the sweetspot to spend for most people
I remember seeing a similarly priced roadbike at a local bikeshop when I was a wee lad. Imagine how bad you would feel about that wasted money in 10-15 years time.
