Amy; even without uploading a route and map; most garmin watches have a breadcrumb feature that will help you backtrack, mine does but, I’m sure you already knew that:-) regardless, your next video should be titled “it’s a wonderful life”! Enjoy Spain:-) R-
Not in the slightest bit jealous, and more than happy to be basking in the UK drizzle, freezing winds, and constantly damp clothing.
Amy, please please consider getting a mobile mic kit. Too often, it’s so hard to hear you and Kyle … especially in your kitchen or enclosed space. In this video, when you entered the shop, it was extremely hard to hear what was being said by anyone that’s more than a few feet away. DJI and Holyland Lark make excellent and very easy to use mobile mic kits. Most come with two mics. Better audio will really level up your channel. Example: I had to stop watching the video of your Dad getting his new bike because the echo was so bad. Just my two cents.

I think there is a "track back" feature of the Fenix 8 that will allow you to navigate back to the start of an activity if you get lost. You can either go via the quickest route or reverse the route you took to get to that point. Enjoy the sunshine, not jealous at all. 😉

Abroad again
Separate duvets are the best. We first experienced them vacationing in Norway, and we loved them so much we brought some covers back with us. Since they're impossible to find in North America, we now buy a king-size set (for our Queen size bed) and my partner cuts them down the middle and sews them into two duvets. Makes all the difference for a good night sleep if your partner is a bed-cover hog! 🙂 Love the video, Amy. Looking forward to watching the rides.

I finally got my first ride of 2026 today, strangely enough it was 8C with a feels like temp of 3C which is warm for Scotland in winter! A hilly 60 miler in the dry, 4.6k ft of elevation gain! It was so good to get out again😊 Have a great time in Spain👍

Lovely day today wasn’t it. I got a sunburned beak. I rode Vall de l’aguar today from Parcent and Murla then tomorrow im riding Vall D’ebo from Pego then back via Petracos gorge. Petracos is stunning. Ride it this time if you haven’t already.
Did you figure out the laundry detergent they use?
Great bag/box the evoc is I love mine as it puts your mind at ease when your pride and joy is in the air.
Little tip if you want it though is to wrap your chain in bubble wrap so it doesn’t hang loose to prevent it from scratching the chainstay 😊👍🏻.
Amy, in future-use a cloth to wrap your chain before packing; this will prevent paint damage on your drive side chain stay. Nice Calpe views! Pjw
