    Probably at least early 2000 or later. Maybe there is a Kona afficionado who can chime in. If it doesn’t look like it’s had the life run out of it, no frame dents, etc, a little elbow grease and a few replacement parts and you’ll have a nice bike.

    One caveat: the quick release skewers were replaced with Pitlock security skewers. Since you don’t have the key, you will need a good set of channel lock pliers and some time to remove the wheels.

  3. Yes, Kona makes nice stuff and it has some potential to be a nice cruising/light single track bike. I would start with cleaning it up and getting wider tires.
