Hey everybody my giant talon has presta valves. When adding air I accidentally snapped the thin metal. (I’m fairly new to mountain biking). I ordered this kit in hopes to fix my issue. If it doesn’t please let me know and what kit or steps should I take to fix it (1st pic is how I left it) (2nd pic is how it used to look) (3rd pic is what I bought)

Yea that’ll work
If the smaller threads at the top of the valve don’t have a flat spot the valve core (what you ordered) isn’t replaceable and you’ll need to order a new tube.
To me it looks like it is round all the way around so you’ll need a new tube. I would recommend going tubeless at some point which you will need valve cores and sealant to convert, but you can run lower pressures for better traction and a smoother ride.
