I just bought a new bike and noticed that there is quite a big gap between the dust cover and the frame. Is this normal? I sent the picture to the store where I bought the bike and they said it is normal but I can drop by and they can have a look at it.
Has the person who assembled the bike messed something up?

No. That’s not normal on a brand new or an old bike.
