Thank you I’m advance, I’m looking at second hand bikes as I feel you can get a lot better value for money, however have no idea what to look for/ be aware of.
If it’s real it’s stolen and a scam. If it’s not real it’s a scam.

Terrified others will disagree but.l, I think You have a nice bike there at a nice price. It’s quite outdated at this stage tho. Most everything has discs now. I would consider r500 wheels not great But the frame was of a much higher level.

Probably real. However it’s quite an old bike now. An equivalent bike without the Pinarello badge would be substantially cheaper. I doubt you’ll be unhappy with it though.

Usually you can get better value on the second hand market, but as someone also looking for a new bike, this price range is really not easy to navigate imo.
You’ll either find this era or older for 500-1k or 2k+. Everything in between is overpriced for what the bikes are.
I bought my current bike 2 years ago, for what I think was an ok price. 600€ for a carbon frameset, rim brake, 11 speed 105, barely used but 7-8 years old. I pulled the trigger because there weren’t many offers around me and I had a trip planned that I wouldn’t survive on a fixed gear.
I don’t need a new(er) bike, I’ve ridden thousands of kilometers, up and down the Dolomites and this one never skipped a beat, it’s just that cycling itch for newer things, disc brakes, tire clearance, that keeps me looking for another bike.
With that said, if your budget is 1k you can find something newer. Don’t get me wrong, that Pinarello is a good bike, but that’s a lot of money for 10-15 y.o. tech.

Go for it, I’m pretty sure it’s real. That said, with a thousand dollars you can probably get something newer with disc brakes and more modern components. Personally, I’d rather have a newer alloy bike with those than an older carbon bike that’s only a few pounds lighter. I chose the latter and I love my bike, but I definitely would’ve gone the other way if I’d known.
