too many stupid drivers on road! dangerous enough!
Some of those close calls. no the morons in the cars don't look properly for bikes, but at the same time, if you are doing 120 mph in a 60 mph, they are not expecting you to come flying up that fast either. Perhaps it's more 'correct' to say they didn't look far enough back to keep you safe while you were breaking the law because they were not expecting you to be doing double the speed limit. You may be in the right, but is it worth it to be DEAD right? Expect stupid stuff always and don't be playing in traffic, that's just asking for it.

I can remember having people pull in front of me over twenty times in a two year period in the 1960's because
no one was used to seeing many motorcycles on the road in the early days.
When Susuki and Honda came on the scene is when people began to notice rider's more!
Bottomline: You gotta beware that some people are just not observant enough for the higher speeds and hi-way traffic!

Bikers going far over the speed limit. Then blaming others when they wreck. At slower speeds, they would have had time to react and avoid most of the obstacles.
They are essentially commiting suicide. Then their parents are looking in their casket, saying, "At least he died happy". That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Death is horrible, and being happy doesn't make it better. That dead biker won't be so happy if he finds himself in hell.
