New Year’s Eve ride around Eastbourne, a seaside town on the south east coast of England. I’m riding my wife’s Brompton G-Line and doing two small missions around town ordering a cake and collecting a parcel. A chilled winter spin with coastal views, a meaningful stop by the sea, and a bit of family time to close out the year.

What a nice video ! Cakes are always a good side quest and the back story about visiting that bench is so lovely. I know what you mean about the differences in the light between the north west & south coast . I had a lovely time down there in 2025 in the new forest . I hope to go down to that area & coast again in 2026
That was a nice, unhurried ride to watch. You mentioned on the New Forest video that your wife was a little wary of vehicles approaching from behind. You might fit a suitable bar end mirror to the Brompton. There are many to choose from, not too unsightly and they usually fold so they don't get damaged when storing the bike. Just a thought.
