Hello, guys. I got this bike from my uncle a few days ago, and I don’t really know the specs, build year, or original price. Can anyone help me with that? (I am from Germany, so the brand Avanti is not that popular over here.) He bought it in Australia and it has a Shimano 105 11-speed.

With the tire tucked up against the seattube and the aero seatpost It seems like an aggressive road bike. Can’t tell exactly but the frame joints look like it’s a carbon fiber frame. So it’s not a cruiser but would be good for flat out effort. Ride it and see if you like it. I’ll bet it has a short wheelbase so it’s going to respond quickly to rider input. If it’s your first bike it might be too aggressive but if you’ve ridden road bikes this would probably be a pretty nice bike. With a carbon frame with Shimano 105 I’m sure the bike cost in the neighborhood of $3000 new. At least that is how much a Trek Madon Carbon with 105 is prices.
