I got this schwinn 5 speed collegiate sport and I thought, this is a ladies comfort cruiser, why not put a position setup and make it goof-proof? Right? The whole shifter, cable, cable clamps, and derailleur is going for $40 on eBay. So that’s kinda cheap for me. So I think I will give it a try. Thanks!

Positron used a drive wire rather than cables, so the shift worked on a push as well as a pull
They were rather painful to service back in the 80s
