I don’t like how my bunnyhops look and feel. I can get my front up high. High up enough to where i would loop out.

The back end not so much. After I pull up it looks like im forcing the bike to do what I want, doesn’t feel fluid.

Another issue I have is springing off the ground. I’ve seen several tutorials and slo mo videos for bunny hops and barspins.

After…or as people pull up they spring off the back end then tuck and it looks cool. Even with just a barspin where you don’t tuck, the whole movement looks cool and they get their bikes up pretty high off the ground.

Also some in some of the tutorials they say to spring off your back tire with your back legs after you pull. Others say you push into the ground as you crouch to spring you off the ground. I don’t understand.

I know how to do with a jump when In standing on the ground. I can jump fairly high. I’m 5’6” and can touch the basketball rim. But with a bike, I don’t get it and can’t feel that spring. It feels like a disconnect when it coming to jump/springing off the ground a bike.

With how zoomed out the video is, it’s a bit hard to see your technique, but rest assured, you’re doing far better than a lot of the folkx posting about their bunnyhops haha. Your biggest problem might be you’re over-thinking it a bit. You might be nose-diving your hop a little, but I think you just gotta keep practicing to build muscle. Often peoples’ hops look fluid/effortless is because they’ve done hundreds of thousands of hops and have developed very specific muscle and muscle memory over time. I’d also recommend getting various sized things to practice hopping over. In sum, keep at it and start jumping up, over, through, and down everything in sight!
