Hi all, I went through a pothole yesterday and now my front rim has a bump that is almost invisible to the naked eye but causes my front brake to pulse when braking.

Does anyone know if it’s fixable or would I need to replace the whole wheel/rim?

Thanks so much in advance for any insight!

  1. I’d say: Close to impossible to fix properly. Respectively: Trying to fix it will cost more than replacing the rim. And if you don’t do anything, it will last for a couple of months, and then the bump will increase and eventually crack.

As the rim looks already quite worn out, I’d replace it.
