Unfortunately, I was forced out of my job due to restructuring at work. It now looks pretty likely that I'll have something new starting in April. Until then, I'm on full pay leave – and therefore have time off. As a passionate bikepacker, I am of course looking for a route. Spontaneously, northern Italy in March came to mind. Starting in Verona and going to Venice and a little further into the surrounding area. Do you think it will still be a little too cold? Or do you have alternative routes or even destinations? I am grateful for any tips. 🙂

I think it’s Italy.
Depends on what you want to experience! Northern Italy in this area is mostly flat… You could eg. go further east, like Triest, where it gets more mountainous with the Karst landscape, and from there you could eg. go to Slovenia like the Soca Valley…
I would settle for exploring Sicily and Sardinia wholeheartedly, or perhaps something more exotic like Morocco? I don’t know about the temperatures but I guess it doesn’t hurt to go a bit south to warmer latitudes.
that shouldn’t take more than a day
