Bet. I have that same derailleur on my bar bike. Previously it was on my snow bike, now it’s about to go on my dad bike. It’s one of the longest components I’ve continuously had on a bike, coming on 15 years I think.

Drivetrains take a beating with all the slush, grit and grime of the winter city streets. So clean it periodically and it’ll do fine

Everything suffers more in winter. Having a beater bike (n+1) just for winter is never a bad idea.
But isn’t this whole setup too nice for a winter bike? I think it’s a bit of a shame.

Yes, although the hardware (pulley bolts, cable fixing bolt) may rust. Unless you worry about theft, ride the stuff till it’s dead. That’s it’s intended purpose, enjoy it while it’s here.
Missing my XTR M950 brake levers that some turd stole off my bike back In November. A pox on that thief’s house.
