It’s quite slow in the grand scheme of cycling, but the distance is very good for a beginner and if you did it on that bike and on those roads, I’m impressed.

Yes.
Don’t compare yourself to others; compare yourself to a week or a month ago, or yesterday, or whatever makes sense.
You did good. Time to do more!
And any distance on those roads are very impressive!

Good job, especially because your bike is not for speed but comfort cruising so the pace seems accurate. For beginner you did good on that distance/pace

On that bike, and in those conditions? Absolutely!
Will just also echo what others have said: just ride and whatever pace and distance you’re comfortable with! As long as you’re enjoying yourself, who cares how fast or how far you’re going!

Did you enjoy yourself? That’s all that matters.

There are so many variables when it comes to comparing yourself with others. The only person you can compare yourself with is yourself. Even then do two rides will be exactly the same.
Just ride and enjoy.
Regardless, that is a big distance for someone that is new. You should be very happy with that ride!

74 km on that bike is an achievment regardless of fitness level.

That’s a great tour to do on a Gazelle stadsfiets!

Did you enjoy yourself? Was it fun? If the answer is yes then it’s good.

“Beginner” is, I assume, a relative term here. I consider myself a beginner because I’ve only been doing this seriously for a few months (though I learned to ride a bike 48 years ago).
Today was my longest ride ever, at 24.3 miles (39.1km) and my average speed was 11.1 mph (17.9 km/h).

So, yes, I think it’s incredible! Keep it up.
Yes! Looks like you did some altitude as well?
