I’m looking for a sanity check on a used road bike as my first proper road bike.
I’ve been reading a lot of older threads here and on r/whichbike about the Endurace (CF vs AL, rim vs disc, 11s vs 12s, and common wear points on higher-mileage bikes), but I’d really appreciate feedback on this specific deal.
Bike:
- Canyon Endurace CF 7.0 (carbon), model year 2020
- Size: S
- Brakes: rim brakes
- Groupset: Shimano 105 (11-speed)
- Mileage: ~24,000 km (amateur use)
Condition / maintenance (seller claims):
- No crashes, no structural damage
- Yearly full service
- Last service ~500 km ago:
- new chain
- new bottom bracket bearings
- new tyres: Vittoria Rubino Pro
- new bar tape
Included extras:
- Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio Flow saddle
- Look Keo Classic 3 pedals
- 2 bottle cages
Price / location:
- Asking price: 900 €
- Location: 1-hour drive away
Me:
- Height 175 cm, inseam 81,5 cm (Canyon sizing points to S)
- Goals: ride a lot (endurance rides + climbs + weekend riding), not racing.
Questions:
- Is 900 € a fair price for this bike given the mileage + rim brakes (EU used market)?
- With 24,000 km, what are the must-check wear items that could make this a bad deal (I’m viewing the bike in person today)?
Photos: I’m adding 5 photos (they are not the best, sorry)
Thanks in advance!

I’d rather buy a new Endurace Allroad for just a bit more. It’s AL but you get a new bike, disc brakes and a groupset that, despite is lower tier on paper, it’s probably better than an ancient 105.
I think €750 is a more reasonable price for this bike
