  1. I’ve heard that the Ozark Trail is great bang for the buck, just a bit heavy. Go for it. And if you buy it in a store, take it to a real bike shop because I have seen some horror stories about how they can be very poorly assembled.

  2. I feel like the Ozark Trail has been talked about in a positive light for being surprisingly decent for the money. You will want to ensure it’s been assembled well by checking everything yourself though.

  3. Just fine for a starter gravel bike. Yeah they are super heavy, but you really can’t go wrong at the price. We have about 1k miles on ours and no major problems. The derailers take a little adjustment and the brakes as well. I recommend right off the bat getting seat post and different flat pedals.

  4. Go for it. Some YouTubers have said this is good enough for a starting point for gravel riding. Get a helmet and get out there.
