  1. I don’t disagree; you could definitely go with a different camera (a chest or helmet-mounted gopro?) or skip it altogether. There are smaller lights (why aren’t you using the light built into the cyclic?) at the cost of either lumens or runtime, but will be much more in line with the esthetics of the bike.

  2. What are you using the camera for?

I would also try to mount them on the rear attachment. Go over a big bump and the weight of all three of those on the hinge can break or come loose. It looks like your mount has both options but it’s hard to tell.

Removing the giant GoPro screw with the handle and puting in a normal screw would help reduce the bulky look a little bit. If you’re going to ride with a camera dealing with the bulk is a compromise you need to make.

The bright red head unit cover doesn’t help either. It’s bulky and eye catching to draw more attention there anyway.

  4. Having been fortunate enough a Fly camera has saved my ass several years ago I wouldn’t ditch the camera…. I love riding with it and knowing whatever is going on and said is being recorded as a piece of mind.

  5. For a cleaner look, I use a Raveman FR series front light sandwiched (top and bottom mount) between the headunit and upfront mount.

  6. I use a chest strap for my GoPro, and a combined mount with a standard Garmin bracket, head unit on top and the Garmin UT-800 headlight underneath. If it fits your budget, you could go with the Garmin Varia Vue up front (camera + headlight combo) and the Varia RCT-715 in the back (tail light + rear camera). That would be the perfect setup for me, but it’s just too expensive. I don’t worry much about weight, but your setup does look a bit bulky. Awesome bike, btw! Happy new Year, ride safe!!!!!
