Haven't ridden my mountain bike properly for a few years after my front wheel tried origami and folded in half after I landed a jump. Since then I've ridden it down the road locally and thats about it. I fancy getting back into it so decided I would give it a service before I do. The chain/gears used to jump when peddling hard to climb a hill, so I thought id start with the chain and work my way around the rest of the bike.
Chain turned out to be covered in quite a thick layer of wax like stuff. Guess its the chain lube I was using in the past. So I have left the chain soaking in paraffin to see if it can be saved. I cleaned the sprockets up to remove the gunk while I was there.
I thought id remove the bb and make sure its ok and clean up around it. Took the crank bolts out and tried to use brute force with a hide hammer to pop them off, didn't work. Got my 3 leg hydraulic puller out and thats too thick to get a bite to be able to pull the crank off.
Does anyone know what crank puller is needed for a 2025 voodoo bizango with Sr suntour xcm cranks? Ill buy one before I break something 😂

You should be good with any ’universal’ puller: one of the ISIS/Octalink’ ones.
