This is my dad's old GT Timberline that was sat in a shed for 20 years. It's probably my favorite bike now and after trying several bars on it I'm thinking of converting to drops.
I know I'll need V-Brake compatible levers but was wondering if it will turn out as good as I think it will?
Any recommendations or advise is appreciated!! 😁🤙

Why? Its perfect how it is! You said its already your fave bike!
Maybe go for some surly corner bar or similar? Then you can keep the rest of your set up
If you want it, go for it. Just buy set that is cheap enough in case you won’t feel comfortable. I have drop bar handlebars and brifters już because of that.
