if this makes you feel an emotion, than it's a successful build. its the most comfortable fixie I've ever rode, and at 30 years old that's all I could ask for.

48×19 (19 skid patches) with 700x35c tires front and back. the chainstays are stopping me from going any bigger. once I figured out the frame could fit 35c I bought the full carbon gravel fork. I paid for the whole steer tube, I'm gonna use the whole steer tube.

I drew inspiration from those vintage quill stem + pista drop setups, but honestly, the drops are still too low 😂 I'll probably get a different stem soon.

I came across an aero seat post and seat clamp at a bike shop one day and knew it could fit this frame, just had to make some cuts and drill a hole to make it fit. it originally came with that god awful compression seat clamp.

I encourage everyone to build some strange obscure bike like this, you'll love it.

PS – does anyone know where I can get a 6 inch carbon AERO spacer made?

  1. Yeah. 30 year old in USA i guess its equivalent of being geriatric in other countries, hence the upright position is understandable.

Truth be told at least has foot retention so better than most builds posted in this sub.

If you need the bars raised that high, this frame is too small for you. Also, why drops if you want to be upright?

  3. you’ve long crossed over into r/xbiking territory.

that rear tire clearance is perfection.

and honestly, i kinda wish your steerer tube was even higher, so the drops line up with the saddle if we’re making this about [ a e s t h e t i c s ], which we are, and i apologize for having to even say it.

The front wheel is on the wrong way round. 0/10
(Nothing to do with it giving me an aneurism when I look at it)
Also, tell me you know nothing about aerodynamics without telling me…

  5. Quite hilarious! But hey if it feels good it feels good…

Where did the frame come from/why was it chosen? I am 100% in the camp of “if it works, it works, do whatever you want with whatever you want,” but it seems like you could use a taller frame with cruiser bars on it if you wanted comfy!

Put some of those wing-looking aero tri bars on it upside down and backwards!

  6. Put a 3 foot long flat handlebar on that thing and you’ll definitely get more up votes on this sub. Lol

  7. Bruh being 30 has nothing to do w it gtfo outta here don’t make the rest of us feel like a buncha ghouls just say you’re in bad shape
