So I posted this bike a few weeks ago when I had just gotten it and it needed a little work. Here’s the current status. Gave everything a good wipe down including the chrome. Velo Orange Rubbery bar tape, new chain, new cables, new saddle (as far as saddles go, it’s “locally made”…same state at least), TRP gum lever brake levers, older Ultegra dual pivots, and swapped wheelsets with another bike (Dura Ace 7400 with mixed rims), MKS AR2 pedals.
One-day upgrades: more uniform wheelset, tires (the rear tire is practically glued to the rim, but I have 28 mm gumwall Gravelking slicks waiting to be installed)
I gave the chain a few extra links so it could deal with a little more range, but it’s wreaking havoc when I change to the small chain ring, so I’ll take those out soon t00.
