My year in bikes

Following some serious health issues I decided to get back into cycling;
1) I resurrected my old Trek 8000zx – still mostly the original Gearset except for XTR brakes which I put on back in the 90’s – still my favourite ride – I added a Brooks saddle and a souvenir reflective triangle from Blue Lug in Tokyo 🚴‍♀️.
2) I fixed up an old Trek 6700 at my Mum’s place in Uk (I live in Thailand) to ride back home.
3) I fixed up and upgraded the gearset on my son’s old Gary Fisher – he’s moved abroad and never used it anyway
4) I bought an old GT Zaskar and found some old XTR gear to upgrade it a bit.
5) I found an old and unused Jake the snake on Marketplace and bought it and fixed it up.
6) Close Friends of mine, seeing my obsession for vintage MTBs etc gave me a budget to buy another as a birthday present – a 1995 S works with full XTR Gearset – I picked her up this morning after servicing !
