Looks like a woman’s specific CAAD10. I have one myself and road many iterations of this frame. Not the woman’s model though, but the tube shapes in terms of construction are identical, it’s just that this has a slightly shorter top tube to accommodate females since they tend to have a shorter torso and reach. This is arguably one of the best alloy race bikes ever made. If you want to go fast and get to point A to B in a relatively quick pace, this is a fantastic bike. As for pricing, it’s a decent price for the spec, but I’d ideally get it down to $500. It’s also rim brake, your maxed out at probably 25-28mm tires on this bike. Not the best for comfort, but for a starter road bike just to get you into cycling, it’s not bad.
It also looks like a size medium if I had to guess from the photos. Unless you’re at least 5’8, this bike would be too big for you.
Just keep in mind though, this frame is more aggressive fitting in geometry. It has the same geometry as the cannondale supersix evo, which is there full on carbon race bike. If you’re a relatively flexible person with no back or neck pain, this would be perfect. I’m not super flexible or anything and after doing several rides on a road bike, your body kinda just naturally adjusts. Good luck!
Solid $300 bike.
Great bike. Wacky saddle, 2011 model not 2014 like the link. $400 for sure in my area, not 600. Even if it’s good there’s lots out there, it’s winter, and its a 15+year old alu frame rim brakes road bike you have negotiating power.
Price seems high to me considering rim brakes and 2×10. My reading says the 105 2×10 setup is quirky and the Tektro brakes are adequate. Definitely a fast bike but more aggressive than I would suggest for a first road bike. As for it being a woman’s frame, I ride a woman’s Synapse Alloy in 52cm fit is ideal for my 5’6″ self…
I think too high for that bike.
How much wear is there on the rims? Can you feel grooves or a concave shape along the braking surface, which indicates a lot of wear?
