As the title explains I’m looking to purchase my first high end TT bike. I just keep coming back to the Speedmax CF SLX 8 Di2 but due to the Australian dollar it’s a $14,000 bike. I’ve also got no option to try one out as they are online only where I live.
Looking for some feedback from riders who have purchased this bike before I take the plunge.

For AUD2k more (according to cervelo) you can get a cervelo p5 if budget isn’t a concern, and you can find it probably at a local bike shop to give it a test ride. I know this is the canyon sub, and while I’ve not had an issue with canyon fits the fact of the matter is that TT bikes are uncomfortable enough, you should probably try and see if there’s an option you can check out in person. Doubly so if this is your first brand new TT bike.
I have just bought the Speedmax CFR 1by AXS and I’m about 1000km in. I went with SRAM so I only have to shift up and down with one derailleur.
After I bought the bike, the team at Canyon helped make sure the bike and cockpit fit me via email and answered any questions I had which was a nice touch. I still wish I went with a slightly longer stem.
Really easy to put together yourself and adjust the cockpit. The options for adjustability are great. I did buy the aftermarket angle riser kit to suit my position better.
Ive had no problems yet and the bike is a rocket.
