Hello everyone!
I’m riding a Cube Stereo Hybrid One55 (link to specs: https://info.cube.eu/product?a=736510&h=en).
The stock setup is Assegai 29×2.50 WT for front and Minion DHR II 29×2.40 WT rear.
I’m considering running Assegai 2.50 WT both front and rear because I feel like I could use a bit more grip on the back, especially in current wintery conditions, which is mostly muddy trails with wet roots or snow, but it was explained that Assegai won't be a good choice for rear as it will perform worse than Minion DHR II due to mud packing – thanks!).
I would appreciate if anyone would share the experience with the wider 2,5" DHR II instead of 2,4" make any noticeable difference?
Another concern is whether the 2,5" will fit without rubbing the rear triangle. It looks that I have ~7-8mm clearance from each side from knob to frame. AFAIK, Cube does not mention max tire width in their manuals (at least I haven't find it).
Adding a few photos, so my understanding is that there should be still a plenty of space, but I'm not sure.
I'll appreciate any personal experience or opinion.
Thank you!

I don’t think you’ll notice any difference from 2.4 > 2.5
What issue are you having specifically?
Looks like if you go any bigger mud clearance will begin to be a big issue. I think ideally you want something like 10mm minimum which looks like you’re already at.
What tyre pressures are you running? Unless you’re really heavy (like 120kg+) I’d be running at about 20PSI max
