Hello & Merry Christomas
I’m looking for some advice on my bike fit.but
I’m experiencing a pain at the upper part of my knee (right above the kneecap) after only about 10km of riding. ( I’m a fairly fit runner (10km in 42m))
I am 1.80 cm and my canyon is Medium size endurance cf
I've attached some photos of my position on the bike. Any advice from the experts here would be greatly appreciated!

It appears you are looking for bike fitting help. Please make sure you post as screenshot of the Canyon size chart for your bike, with your point in it. See [this example](https://imgur.com/a/ALUfXyy)

At first glance, looks like your leg is fully extended. Try dropping the saddle a wee bit. There should be a slight bend when foot is at bottom rather than dead straight
Try riding with higher cadence.
Yoooo, that bike is too big or your saddle is too high. Make sure to keep 20-degree bend or so. When youre riding slow and fast, your hips should not rock to reach the down stroke.
Look into professional bike fit, or play around with saddle hight. If you have someone to ride with, have them keep an eye on your knee extension and hip rocking…
When pressing the foot down on the pedal you gotta check the angle between your thigh and your lower leg.. should be 90degrees.. if the angle is wider there are shear forces on your knee

Bring the right crank arm forward and keep it level. Place the ball of your foot on the pedal axle and take a photo from the side. So we see the angles.
get a proper bike fit session from your nearest bikefitter. getting advice from random strangers on the internet isn’t getting u much anywhere. or buy a bikefitting book, but you still need 2nd person to look at your riding position on the bike, cycling on roller / dumb trainer
Two simple questions:
(1) Are you pedaling in too high of a gear?
(2) When you’re pedaling, is the center of the pedal behind the ball of your foot?
If everything else on the bike is dialed and you feel comfortable, foot position could be the issue. I had a similar problem and moved my cleats all the way back toward my heels, and the pain completely went away. You might also consider clipless pedals because it’s nice having consistent foot placement.
