how can I remove the screw from the thread? the thread is already crooked and I was thinking should I cut the whole thread and weld and put a seat clamp? is it possible or do I damage the frame?
I would see if you can find a small enough nut to fit in the other side, or on the other side, and use a longer screw.

Cutting the welds and getting it smooth enough for a champ will be a lot of work. You would be better off retapping the threads or drilling them out and getting a bolt long enough to put a nut on the other end.

I’ve cut off an integrated clamp to put in a quick release, so yes it can be done, but you need to take your time and make sure you’re grinding it down smooth and even.

Buy a cheap rethreading kit and a new bolt.

Personally, I would get a quill stem from a dumpster bike and make a pivotal wedge post by cutting a post at an angle and using the bolt and wedge from the quill stem. Make sure it’s an allen bolt and not a crescent wrench bolt. Then I would hack, grind, and sand the frame for aesthetic reasons

Drill out the thread side so it’s just a normal hole straight through and then put a nut and bolt through it…
Those built in thread ones always strip, nut and bolt is superior in every way haha
