Ha 03:02 made me laugh! Nice, informative video. My concern with covers, they can act as a sail when windy. Safe riding.
Thanks for the video, If I see corectly – do you already have new tires?
Informative video — thanks. The best cover I ever had was a fitted (so no problem in the wind) green canvas one that I re-proofed every year. It lasted over two decades of standing outside protecting my bikes! I doubt either of those covers you featured will last that long (UV will kill them) but that's progress I guess.
Just watch out on a windy day, it will blow your bike over.
After many years I've settled on a medium weight tarp (currently using Aldi) & a pack of bungees from home bargains, total cost under £10, totally waterproof & no condensation.Tarp over bungees around & importantly under the foot rests. I've had an Oxford cover shread in high winds this has never happened with my current set up, I'd advise using bungees with the Oxford it won't last long if it's exposed to high winds.
the padded ones are much better against condensation form my experience, they are more insulated and have vent holes in the "ears" that go over the mirrors, i have the rainex model
I have the lined version of bike cover on my scooter. I've found after a year that chafe where it touches the top of the screen and top box has caused the lining to fall apart. Whenever I take the cover off now a shower of shredded material falls out. I'm about to replace with the unlined version as you have bought. 👍
Hi, I have a similar situation. The cover helps a lot, but in a humid climate, corrosion and frost eventually affect the bike. I hope everything goes well—best regards!
Buy a shed.
It also acts as a Layer of security when home or away , as thieves don't want to be lifting covers to see what it is. They would much rather take a bike when they can see what it is
Try doing that in Orkney and become the first Oxford products sponsored paraglider….

I parked my CB125F outdoors for 2 years and used a cheap Oxford cover. With no top box, I found the small size to be fine, but obviously YMMV. After 2 years, the cover was pretty well worn out (holes and tears). I moved to a place with a garage and now keep the motorcycle indoors 😛
