Nice mods on yours! The friction shifter is an interesting placement, why did you decide to go friction? I think there’s quite a few trigger shifters that work.
I kinda went the opposite of you and went front disc brake and rear rim brake.
Wait. A shimano altus with custom extender? – Aftermarket rear triangle w disc brake. No front brake?!
Love the friction shifter. I’ve read a bit on geared conversions and seems some of the indexing can be difficult on wider cassettes, and friction makes a lot of that pain go away.
