Those ZIPP XPLR with Cushcore Trail size and Teravail Ruthland 2.1 pumped @ 18 psi are super fast, responsive and not bottoming to the rim as some reviews I read. I ride mostly single track, some techy and just wild trails and absolutely loving this set up. the bike and I are at 185lb. bike fully loaded come up 25lb.

Altho those specific Teravail tire are not on the zipp compatibility list, some other Teravail of similar width and beads are, so I figure with the Cushcore to hold them in they'd be fine and after some fast single track with lots of roots and rocks they held perfectly.

  1. That’s a sick ride dude. What top tube bag is that? I’ve got a green crux that I think it would match on.

  2. Sick! Same color as my Lauf. I have gravel king 2.2s that look just like that. Also the dropper post helps lowering that CoG!

Now that Lauf is 30 minutes away, I’ve been thinking about driving over there and buying one … This is making that so much more tempting.

  4. We really should stop giving the bike industry our money and all be on hardtail drop bar bikes.
