Picked up this guy the other day. Planning on making it a little ratty street build. I don’t know much of anything but what kind of bearings and stuff do I need for it. And what kind of cheap hubs are gonna get me by. If I ever build up skill enough to be serious I’ll probably buy something new, but for now I’m just looking to get it back riding and have some fun for a good price. Any suggestions would help a lot

Dude to be honest if you have decent hubs and don’t want to spend money on new ones you can just take them apart, take the bearings out, measure the bearing dimensions and buy new ones, clean and degrease everything and put them back together, it’s defina cheaper depending on what bearings you buy, but if you don’t want to go through the hassle just find a nice wheel set on facebook marketplace
You can buy them on Amazon super cheap! Pull the hubs apart and measure them. Prob get bearings for both wheels for less than $20!
