Id like to purchase a new wheel set to replace my current ones on the trainer. They are from 2015, never been raced on. Any red flags I should look out for? 300 seems reasonable, but perhaps Im missing something obvious.

You could also get the Elite wheels Rim for about 250-300€ on Aliexpress new.
I ride the Disc brake version of them and I really love how responsive and stiff they feel.

I thought about the same this year: should I invest 300€ in an 10y old wheelset or should I upgrade to disc brake or new carbon wheelset from AliExpress elitewheels
I chose the elite wheels and here is why
I have no idea how good this wheels were treated. They wear out at the brake track and many sell second hand wheels of that type where spokes broke out of the wheel.
