Trying to restore a vintage Dawes Galaxy and am having issues taking off this freewheel. I just don’t know if I’m wasting my time here and if the freewheel is even threaded on. I know some can be press fit? Saw a video where a guy just took a pipe wrench to it to unthread it, but didn’t want to completely ruin the freewheel if there weren’t threads on this in the first place. I know I could just service it, but if I can just replace it, I think that’d be ideal.

It’s just stuck. There’s a specific tool to get it off without taking the freewheel apart but since that ship has sailed, just clamp it in a vise or use a pipe wrench to twist it off.
