I feel like the lights needs to be directional to be less blinding. Especially the front lights.
It’s so annoying that it blasts in every direction it makes it less safe as people are blinded and can’t properly see you

I’ve tried a few types and my favourite are the [Brightz wheelBrightz](https://a.co/d/6InFIkl).
Rather than just a string of LEDs, they’re enclosed in a transparent plastic tube. The wire string ones without that eventually fray and stop working.
They’re also just one colour (or fixed multicolored), rather than having a few colours you can rotate through. I found when I had the options of different colours, I only ever wanted the one colour — usually red at the back, white at the front, and multicolored on my tandem.
They don’t flash.
All lights like these look ok when you’re stationary and awesome when you’re moving and it creates the continuous circle.
