With the new configuration would it just require a front derailleur, crank, and chain to convert this bike to a 2x? I would probably get a new crank anyways to add a power meter.

that Rival XPLR AXS 1-by isnt compatible (officially) with 2-by front derailleur. hacking it is at your own risk
