  1. Nothing special. Tune-up if you plan to ride them. Otherwise offer them cheap or free on Craigslist / Marketplace

  2. You’ve got a couple of bikes that will be fine for casual crusin’ ’round the neighborhood. Don’t go crazy with spending a lot of money on them. They’re old and cool, and they were decent bikes in their day but they aren’t anything that’s going to be worth a fortune all fixed up. You’re gonna need new tires, tubes, brake pads and cables. That’s gonna cost as much as the bikes are worth, but if you DIY it, you’ll learn some stuff and have the satisfaction of riding a bike you repaired by yourself.
