keep in mind I’ve been hopping for a couple months now so I can bunny hop decently but nothing too crazy. I just can’t get it to translate to a 180 and I feel like I’m stuck. Any help would be massively appreciated
Trying to learn to 180 for the first time. What am I doing wrong and do you have any suggestions?

Hard to tell from that angle but it looks like your back wheel didn’t even leave the ground. Are you pretty good with hops? Because I’d recommend getting those dialled before trying to learn any kind of trick
You must fully master the bunny or j hop first then it’s just a matter of carving the direction you want to 180 and turning your head and shoulders and your body will follow.
Also, it’s definitely personal preference but it looks like your handlebars could benefit from being moved forward a bit.
Yeah as someone mentioned, would definitely try moving your handlebars forward so that they’re in line with the fork when you look at them from the side of the bike, because you look a bit tall for the bike, so it’ll help a bit. Another point, not sure wether you know it , but you’re turning in a “goofy footed” direction. If that feels natural then that’s okay, but in general it’s easier to spin the other direction than what you’re trying currently. When you bunnyhop, you will start turning at the start of the bunnyhop and continue turning through the hop. If you can get the bike past 90 degrees, then you will be on the way to learning.
Your bike will follow your head. Look where you want to go, commit, and you’ll get there. Also make sure your bunny hop game is high enough to allow the rotation to happen. Only way to get better at that is repetition.
Learn to bunnyhop first.
