Trek Speed Concept in size Large. Equipped with a SRAM Force crank, Stages power meter and wireless SRAM Red electronic shifting. Features a BiSaddle for excellent fit and adjustability, comfortable TriRig arm cups, and new tape up front. Wheels are the stock Aeolus Pro 5s, currently wrapped in Continental GP5s.

This is a used bike for $2500. I would be doing most of my riding indoors training for a full Ironman and 70.3.

  1. Dude it’s a 10 year old bike, you know the real answer… It’s 1500$ max and thats being generous

  2. The power meter, electronic shifting and the Ceramicspeed pulley wheel are worth 1000+ USD on eBay.

The wheels are basic, the seller probably used them for training. A good set of 80mm wheels will be 1000 or so, even used.

In general the drivetrain looks like it has seen quite a bit of use. It might be coming up to the point where a cassette, chain, and possibly chainrings need replacement.

The thing with Tri bikes is that there are a number of personal decisions that the owner made that might not be right for you. Can you adjust the cockpit for your riding style. If not, new cockpit. The saddle might not work for you. Have you figured out what your preferences are?

If it was in really good shape around 2k could be believable. This is should be a bit under that.
