I’m a 6’7 21yo M getting into triathalon training, on a budget cause I’m a student. I’m down to these 2 bikes.
First one:
$275 USD
Trek Pilot 2.1 road bike with Ultegra and 105 components, aluminum frame/carbon fork/carbon rear stays, 700c wheels, and 30 speeds. Red pedals not included but some regular ones will be. Very good condition with some signs of normal use, has had a tune up, and is ready to use immediately.
-63cm/XXL is for 6’2”-6’8”- Seller buys fixes and sells bike which I like, did a tune up
Second option:
Seller said they can do $300 usd
Cannonade R1000 aero
Frame size is 64cm
I believe it’s the 2001 model
In very good condition for its age, seller claims brakes and gears are good and hasn’t been used a whole lot for its age. Pictures make it look clean.

Depends what you want it for. The cannondale looks super cool and pretty reasonable for commuting.
If you want to get into cycling as a sport, for around 300 USD where I live you could get a full carbon ultegra TCR or defy ~2010 with the next gen ultegra groupset. I think this is where the shape and feel was perfected. I’d also steer clear of 3 chainrings, since 2 is plenty, and some people think 1 is enough now.
