So, I had my Brompton shy of 6m – and the with LU being what it is, I regret not getting a Brompton earlier.
I use it for my daily commute to and from work ( 4/w, ~8.5mi each way ~17mi/d = ~289mi/m).
Along the way I picked a few upgrades done by my good self, but not without an extension amount of research and input from various vendors, suppliers and manufacturers. And a few more to follow.
Best thing I did was to change the stock BB – made a massive difference.
Worst thing I did was to trust the stock quick fit pedal – that was expensive lesson.

6 months and you changed it so much! Love the colour.
One of the few noticeable upgrades to my commute over the years has been a spurcycle bell. Given to me as a gift but I regretted not getting it sooner. I recently bought a new bike (non brompton) and bought a new bell before the bike has even arrived.
